CONCISA — An accounting ERP that balances itself.
My most important project so far. I joined a Laravel ERP with history and no accounting: first I fixed what was broken, then I integrated an accounting engine, adapted to the real office processes.

Validated against audited data.
What I did
- 01The ERP had no accounting: I installed the eloquent-ifrs accounting engine (IFRS) and adapted it to the client's processes: automatic entries for purchases, sales, cash receipts, advances, withholdings and cheques, in quetzales and US dollars.
- 02Configured the tax rules for customers and suppliers: VAT and income-tax withholding agents, small taxpayers and general regime.
- 03Built and adjusted reports such as the general journal, balance sheet and income statement.
- 04Built an imports management report with filters and dynamic charts (ECharts), validated with 26 automated tests against audited data.
- 05Planned a phased production rollout: schema changes, SQL scripts and backups outside business hours.
- 06Found MyISAM tables that prevented rolling back transactions in tests and proposed converting them to InnoDB.
