## Profile

Software developer with four real projects for Guatemalan companies, each with a different challenge: maintaining and extending a live ERP, building a website from scratch, supporting a multi-branch ERP and setting up self-hosted infrastructure with strict security. My core is PHP, Laravel and MySQL; on the front end I work with JavaScript, Astro and Tailwind CSS. I adapt to each team's stack and workflow, and I measure my work by results. Systems Engineering student at Universidad Mariano Gálvez.

Looking for a full-time role, in a team.

## Experience

### CONCISA — Developer · contractor through INDESA

Oct 2025 — present · https://concisa.com.gt · Wholesale packaging for ornamental plants

My most important project so far. I joined a Laravel ERP with history and no accounting: first I fixed what was broken, then I integrated an accounting engine, adapted to the real office processes.

- The ERP had no accounting: I installed the eloquent-ifrs accounting engine (IFRS) and adapted it to the client's processes: automatic entries for purchases, sales, cash receipts, advances, withholdings and cheques, in quetzales and US dollars.
- Configured the tax rules for customers and suppliers: VAT and income-tax withholding agents, small taxpayers and general regime.
- Built and adjusted reports such as the general journal, balance sheet and income statement.
- Built an imports management report with filters and dynamic charts (ECharts), validated with 26 automated tests against audited data.
- Planned a phased production rollout: schema changes, SQL scripts and backups outside business hours.
- Found MyISAM tables that prevented rolling back transactions in tests and proposed converting them to InnoDB.

Stack: Laravel 10, PHP, MySQL, eloquent-ifrs, ECharts, PHPUnit, Blade
Facts: 1 year in production; 26 tests against audited data; Q · US$: multi-currency

### Pierr Marino — Developer

Sep 2026 — present · https://www.pierrmarino.com · Corporate and school uniforms, customised garment by garment

I rebuilt their landing page from scratch with Astro, designed for search engines and speed. Its Google PageSpeed score went from 68 to between 85 and 94, and the site has helped them win clients.

- Led the migration of the landing page to Astro: a static, fast, SEO-optimised site.
- Built the corporate and school product catalogues, integrated as sections of the site.
- Still building new features for their ERP and management panel, built with Laravel.

Stack: Astro, Tailwind CSS, Laravel, Filament
Facts: 68 → 85+ Google PageSpeed; Astro: landing from scratch; 2 catalogues: corporate & school

### StockCar — Support & maintenance

Oct 2025 — Aug 2026 · Chain of auto-parts branches

Front-line support for the ERP their branches use to sell, quote, invoice and manage stock: the bridge between users and code.

- Direct support to branch users to understand and solve each issue.
- Diagnosing and fixing bugs in the Laravel ERP: sales, quotes, inventory and electronic invoicing (DTE).
- Ongoing maintenance so selling and invoicing never stopped.

Stack: Laravel, Filament, MySQL
Facts: 6 branches; 11 users; 10 000+ products in catalogue

### Ridevint — Developer & infrastructure

Aug 2026 · https://ridevint.com · Data solutions: analytics, statistics and artificial intelligence

For a Swisscontact labour-market study, I built the survey companies use to share their hiring needs, and the infrastructure that protects every answer until the final report.

- Built the labour-demand survey with informed consent: every company accepts the terms before answering.
- Deployed everything on a self-hosted VPS managed with Coolify, with encryption and hashed passwords.
- Restricted database access: authenticated connections only, any other IP is blocked.
- When the survey closed, connected Power BI to the database with encrypted credentials to generate the reports.

Stack: .NET, VPS, Coolify, Power BI
Facts: VPS: self-hosted, with Coolify; IP: restricted DB access; Power BI: closing reports
